■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Monthly “Business Nugget” meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month at 7:30 a.m. in the dining room of the Port Angeles Senior & Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St.
This Wednesday’s program will feature the chamber president, Jim Moran of The 401(K) Co., discussing retirement planning options for individuals and business owners with a focus on keeping up with current market trends.
Moran is also the chamber’s 2015 president
A continental breakfast will be provided.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are normally held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
However, there is no meeting Monday because of Memorial Day.
The luncheon series resumes June 1 with a program about the Port Townsend School of Woodworking.
■ Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held at 11:45 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.
Tuesday’s program will feature a discussion on water issues as the Sequim-Dungeness Valley population grows. Speakers will be Chris Hugo, Sequim city community development director, and Ann Soule, city water resource project manager.
The meeting sponsor will be Creative Changes.

This Wednesday’s speaker will be Clint Beyer, owner of Beyer Barrels of Forks, with updates on the gun industry.
Lunch costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.75; and a cup of soup, $4. The entree is chicken alfredo.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
This Tuesday’s speaker will be Sam Phillips, Clallam County Fire-Rescue District No. 2 fire chief.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
