■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Monthly “Business Nugget” meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month at 7:30 a.m. in the dining room of the Port Angeles Senior & Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St.
This Wednesday’s program will feature Dave Neupert of Platt Irwin Law Firm of Port Angeles on successful business strategies with wills, trusts, living wills, estate tax and other long-term estate planning.
A continental breakfast will be provided.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
Today’s guest speaker will be Frank DePalma, president of Totera Web Systems, who will discuss a new website tool that allows event entries once to promote throughout the community.
The meeting sponsor will be Jefferson Healthcare.
■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at JT’s Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave.
This Wednesday’s program speaker will be City Councilman John Hillcar on a proposed ordinance now before the council to legalize all-terrain vehicles on city streets up to 35 mph.
Lunch costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.75; and a cup of soup, $4. The entree is taco tiki chicken.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
Tuesday’s program speaker will be Port of Port Angeles Commissioner John Calhoun discussing the Platypus Marine Inc. proposal to purchase 5 acres of port land adjacent to its Marine Drive complex for expansion, adding 75 jobs.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
