■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.
This Monday’s speaker is Elaine Jones, a certified business adviser for Washington State University’s Small Business Development Center.
She will discuss the options available through the WSU system and how this information can open doors for small-business growth.
Also, announcements of the August Business of the Month and Beautification Award will be made.
Tickets for the luncheon are $15 and can be purchased from the meeting room cashier. For those not having lunch, there is a $3 participation fee that includes a beverage.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
This Monday’s featured speaker will be Dan Youra, owner of Youra Media of Port Hadlock, who will discuss “Making Your Website Mobile-Friendly.”
The sponsor of Monday’s meeting is Kitsap Bank.
Lunch at $8 will be served by Subway.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
This Tuesday’s meeting will be devoted to a group discussion of the PA United effort and PABA’s role in it, particularly in light of the Port Angeles Downtown Association’s withdrawal from further consideration of PA United.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
