Clallam County commissioners on Tuesday approved signing the warranty deed to the first of several proposed private property acquisitions intended to improve salmon habitat near the Dungeness River mouth.
The commissioners’ action to sign the deed to River’s End Road property owner Joseph Lujan’s half-acre puts the property in escrow until the sale becomes final.
Next in line are River’s End Road parcels owned by Denny and Gail Secord and the Anthony J. Harris trust, county planners said.
