Authorities have seized more than 1,000 marijuana plants and arrested seven people throughout the state in connection with an alleged drug operation masked by a Sequim trucking company.
Evidence from statewide coordinated efforts indicates marijuana growing, marijuana and cocaine distribution and power theft as well as money laundering through Hard Rock Trucking in Sequim, Clallam County Undersheriff Fred DeFrang said.
More arrests are expected, DeFrang said Saturday.
The sting is part of an ongoing investigation by the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team into an alleged ring of criminal activity that stretches as far as Spokane.
The narcotics task force and other law enforcement agencies on Friday served 76 search warrants on 11 locations including three in Clallam, three in Jefferson, two in Okanogan, and one each in Spokane, Pierce and Pend Orielle counties.
