Deadwood Revival to play old-time folk rock at tonight’s Concert on the Dock

PORT TOWNSEND — One of the North Olympic Peninsula’s most favorite — and acclaimed — musical groups performs tonight at the Concert on the Dock.

Deadwood Revival, playing its old-time folk-rock music, will perform in the free concert starting at 6 p.m. in the Quincy Street Dock area off Water Street.

The stage is adjacent to the Water Street Brewing at the end of Quincy Street.

All ages are welcome to the two-hour concert.

The four-member Deadwood Revival, fronted by Kim Trenerry and Jason Mogi with Ches Ferguson on bass and Julie Campbell on fiddle, are frequent Peninsula performers and will have the distinction of playing all three free summer concert series co-sponsored by the Peninsula Daily News this year.

Deadwood Revival opened Sequim’s 2008 Music in the Park series in June, and will perform at Port Angeles’ Concert on the Pier next Wednesday.

Like Concert on the Dock, those outdoor concerts are free.

Information about the group is available at www.deadwoodrevival.com.
