PORT ANGELES — The World Champion Auto Daredevils are back at Port Angeles Speedway tonight.
Organizer Bob Hanna said it may be the last time his stunts are at the speedway at 255678 U.S. Highway 101, although he plans a show at the Clallam County Fairgrounds Sept. 10.
Several crowd-pleasing stunts are planned tonight at the speedway. There will be the jump over the infield pit shack, slide for life, rollover contest, Outlaw T-bone, domino crash, head-on crash and a special “balloon glow” set to go off at intermission.
The gates open at 6 p.m. with area band Chantilly Lace performing from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The thrill show goes from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children younger than 11 years old.
There will be drawings totaling more than $1,500 in sponsor donations throughout the event.
Sponsors include 7 Cedars Casino, Pen Print and Wilder Auto Center.
