FORKS — Work crews will begin work on U.S. Highway 101 south of Forks on Monday, March 16.
Work crews will build a lane for westbound traffic before turning onto Lower Hoh Road.
Drivers can expect single-lane alternating traffic controlled by flaggers through late April.
The work will be performed by crews from Barcott Construction LLC of Chehalis.
The crews also will replace the existing illumination system with on closer to the intersection to improve visibility.
Construction is planned during daytime only, the work is weather dependent and subject to change.
