PORT ANGELES — Forget strolling down memory lane.
Rolling is the way to go.
And for hundreds of vintage and classic cars and trucks and thousands of auto enthusiasts, the memories just kept on coming Friday evening at the Ruddell Cruise-In.
The event, hosted by Ruddell Auto Mall and Ruddell Hyundai and the Bremerton-based Old Timers car club, featured a wide variety of vehicles in the setting of a neighborhood block party.
Ruddell cleared the lots at its two dealerships, and a steady stream of chrome-filled rides and ‘rods took over the asphalt.
Vehicles from the days of “horseless carriages” to the early 1970s were displayed as The Way Back Machine played rock ‘n’ roll.
Many of the classics, vintage vehicles and hotrods then lined Front Street in downtown Port Angeles on Saturday.
This was the 14th year for the Cruise-In.
