United Way of Clallam County has raised about $645,220 so far in this year’s fund-raising campaign.
The agency is hoping unofficially to raise $825,000, but does not have a dollar goal for this year, the 49th campaign.
“I think we will have around $800,000 by the end of the campaign, which is a little less than last year,” said Patty Hannah, executive director.
Donations from the drive will be distributed to more than 20 Clallam health and human service agencies.
Last year the agency raised $874,730 — 99.97 percent of its goal.
Hannah said the Sept. 11 attacks have affected fund raising in several ways.
