Beginning today, Clallam County, state and federal officials present a series of free workshops this week about what to do in the event of a tsunami (earthquake-generated tidal wave):
* Today: John Wayne Marina, 2577 W. Sequim Bay Road. Responders and officials meet at 2 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. public meeting.
* Wednesday: Lower Elwha Klallam Reservation, Law Enforcement Training Center, 1986 Lower Elwha Road. Responders, officials and the public at 10 a.m.
Also Wednesday, LaPush, A-ka-lat Center, officials, responders and public at 4 p.m.
