Clallam: Three more file for fall elections

Three more candidates filed for office Tuesday with the Clallam County Auditor’s Office.

Incumbent County Commissioner Mike Doherty, D-Port Angeles, filed for re-election. He is being opposed by Forks Republican Phil Kitchel in a rematch of the 1998 election.

Incumbent District Court II Judge Erik S. Rohrer of Port Angeles also filed for re-election. He is unopposed so far.

Diane Haffner of Port Angeles also filed to oppose incumbent County Treasurer Ruth Gerdon.

Filing continues until 4:30 p.m. Friday in the Election Center, downstairs in the Clallam County Courthouse, 321 E. Fifth St., Port Angeles.
