A little more than 10 percent of the ballots for the Sept. 16 primary election have been returned to the Clallam County Auditor’s Office.
Clallam County only has vote by mail balloting.
Election officials mailed 40,682 ballots to voters last week.
So far, 4,079 ballots have been returned, including 2,731 on Wednesday.
