PORT ANGELES — Clallam Mosaic will present a health fair from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22.
The free annual fair at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Lopez Ave., will offer a wide range of information about health and wellness.
Attendees will be able to try out a rowing machine, ride the Olympic Peninsula Healthy Community Coalition’s smoothie bike, then enjoy the smoothie they created and watch a demonstration of the Afro-Brazilian martial art of capoeria.
Peninsula College honors nursing students will make presentations on topics such as blood pressure and heart health, nutrition and diabetes, reproductive health, healthy and unhealthy fats, cold and flu prevention, and obesity.
The goal of the health fair is to engage the community, promote health and wellness and raise awareness of disease prevention measures.
The event is co-hosted by Clallam County Health and Human Services, the Developmental Disabilities Administration, Molina Healthcare, the Olympic Peninsula Community Clinic and the Olympic Peninsula Healthy Community Coalition.
