CARLSBORG — The Agnew man accused of starting two fires Sunday in vacant dwellings was charged Tuesday in Clallam County Superior Court with different crimes.
Jared Kealoha Robinson, 27, of 664 North Barr Road, was charged with first-degree theft, second-degree theft, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine and two counts of second-degree vehicle prowling, according to court documents.
Prosecutors could not be reached late Tuesday to explain why arson charges have not been filed.
But it is possible for more charges to be filed later, according to the Superior Court clerk’s office.
Clallam County Sheriff’s Department officials said Monday that Robinson had allegedly confessed to starting the Sunday fires.
He was arrested early Monday after a 1996 Ford Taurus was reported stolen by a Carlsborg family around 3:45 a.m., court records show.
