Less than a month after the official ground-breaking ceremony, the new Olympic Medical Center office in Sequim is beginning to take shape.
“It is coming along real well,” Administrator Mike Glenn said Wednesday, prior to the hospital district commissioners’ meeting in Port Angeles.
Assistant Administrator for Procurement Ken Berkes provided an update to the board, explaining construction started slow but has gained momentum.
“We now have cement work coming up out of the ground,” he said, indicating that construction of the 8,600-square-foot structure on North Fifth Avenue in Sequim appears to be on schedule.
