Healthy Families of Clallam County has received a $25,000 grant from a Seattle-based philanthropic organization, the agency announced Monday.
The Medina Foundation grant — the maximum amount allotted by the organization — will be used to enhance three programs providing services to children and families who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault or trauma, a Healthy Families spokesperson said.
The Medina Foundation aids in improving the human condition in the Puget Sound and Olympic Peninsula areas by fostering positive change, growth and the improvement of people, its Internet site says.
