Clallam County commissioners will hold two public hearings today on the county’s proposed $75.9 million budget for 2002.
The hearings will be at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Room 160 of the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
West End residents can participate via a teleconference at the Clallam County District Court courtroom in Forks City Hall, 500 E. Division St., Forks.
The budget includes 6 percent cuts that county departments were required to make for 2002.
The cuts could lead to employees workweek being reduced to 37.5 hours and the courthouse being open reduced hours.
