Clallam County prayer vigil set for Tuesday in Port Angeles

All city of Port Angeles and Clallam County employees will hold a prayer gathering in honor of the victims of last week’s terrorist attacks.

It will be from 8:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday at the entrance to Vern Burton Community Center at Fourth and Peabody Street.

The program includes the Clallam County Sheriff’s Honor Guard “Presentation of Colors;” words from Clallam County clergy; and a song by Linda Roening.

City Hall and Clallam County Courthouse will be closed for business during this time. The Clallam County Auditor’s Office will remain open for voting because of the primary election.
