Clallam County residents who would rather not wade through six inches of paper documents can now find the county codes on the Internet.
The county launched the latest section of its growing Web site Monday.
“That is a big deal because we have been working on all of our ordinances together and getting them recodified,” County Administrator Dan Englebertson told the county commissioners Monday during their work session.
Anything from the county’s “no-shoot zones” to the comprehensive plan can be found at www.clallam.net. The link to the county codes Web pages can be found on the county’s home page.
The county’s home page can also be accessed through the Peninsula Daily News’ Internet site at www.peninsuladailynews.com. Click on “links” at the left and then scroll down to “Clallam County Government.”
