Electricity was cut to about a dozen customers of the Clallam County Public Utility District about 8:30 p.m. Saturday after an automobile struck a utility pole on Creekside Drive near Old Olympic Highway.
Power was interrupted for about 45 minutes before PUD line personnel replaced a fuse that had blown when the car struck the pole.
No injuries were reported from the crash, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Department.
