Clallam: Animal shelter director dies at 59

Clallam County Humane Society Executive Director Judy Ann Nikodym died Tuesday afternoon in a Seattle hospital.

She was 59.

Nikodym was taken by helicopter to Virginia Mason Medical Center after suffering a massive heart attack Saturday night.

She is survived a by daughter, Stacy, a son, Rick, and her brother, James Crain, all of Port Angeles.

Funeral services are pending.
