CHIMACUM — Tired of the bar scene or watching the ball drop on television as a way to celebrate New Year’s Eve?
Then the H.J. Carroll Park Labyrinth, located on Rhody Drive just north of the Tri-Area Community Center, may be the place to be go.
The New Year’s Eve celebration begins at 4 p.m. with the lighting of 300 candles along the labyrinth path and will include music, a potluck and bonfire.
The event is open to the public.
Those attending should dress warmly and bring candles, a flashlight and wood for the bonfire.
Group walks of the labyrinth will take place at 4 p.m. and midnight. The park will close at 12:30 a.m.
