CHIMACUM — Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office officials are investigating the death of a Port Ludlow teenager whose body was found in the vicinity of a weekend drinking party.
Shane Luther, 16, was found dead Saturday morning after he had attended a drinking party in a secluded area between Chimacum and Port Hadlock.
There were no signs of trauma on Luther’s body, and an autopsy performed Sunday failed to uncover any medical problems.
But Sheriff’s Office officials believe the death may be alcohol-related.
