Change made to today’s Studium Generale program

PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College has announce that its Studium Generale presentation, “Three Makah Weavers,” set for today has been canceled due to illness.

According to a press release, the program has been replaced by a screening of the 2000 documentary “Usual and Accustomed Places.”

The screening will be at 12:35 p.m. today at the Little Theater on Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

The documentary by Makah filmmaker Sandra Osawa explores the Makah tribe’s struggle to uphold their fishing rights.
