PORT ANGELES — Three cash reregisters were stolen in and around Port Angles late Sunday or early today.
“They broke two windows, and it looked like they used some sort of a device for breaking tempered glass,” said Erich Seifert, co-owner of the Good To Go Natural Grocery at 105 S. Eunice St. in Port Angeles, from which a cash register containing $150 was taken.
“It’s kind of a drag,” he said.
A security camera inside the business was not turned on, Seifert said.
Cash registers were also taken from drive-up coffee stands on U.S. Highway 101 just east of the city limit, and on Lincoln Street, said Brian Smith, Port Angeles deputy chief of police.
Those tills were empty.
