CARLSBORG — Neighbors of a proposed retreat center and youth camp near Kitchen-Dick Road took their final stand Monday against the project.
Clallam County Hearings Examiner Ted Hunter heard more testimony in Port Angeles from residents arguing against a conditional use permit that would allow King’s Way Foursquare Church to develop 16.4 acres on Kitchen-Dick Road near Carlsborg.
After hearing 2½ hours of testimony, Hunter said the complexity of matters in the proposal would probably take him more than the normal 10 days to render a decision — possibly up to 20 days.
