BUSINESS BRIEFS — Port Angeles Farmers Market adds Twin Peaks Brewery to its Saturday offerings . . . and other items

PORT ANGELES — Twin Peaks Brewery and Malting Co. has joined the Port Angeles Farmers Market as the market’s newest vendors.

Owners Ed and Wanda Smith are the former owners of Peaks Pub in Port Angeles and have been brewing craft beers since 2005, expanding their brewery capabilities in 2011.

The Smiths will offer eight types of beers, from pale ales to porters, available at the Market in 22-ounce bottles.

Customers aged 21 and older will be able to sample beers before purchasing.

“Liquor laws changed in 2013 to allow breweries, wineries and cideries to offer samples of their alcoholic beverages to customers,” Market Manager Cynthia Warne said.

Twin Peaks Brewing and Malting Co. is located at 2506 W. 19th St. and is open Tuesday through Sunday at 2 p.m.

They offer 10 ales on tap along with an outdoor beer garden.

For more information on the brewery, phone 360-809-3195.

The Port Angeles Farmers Market is open year-round Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
