BRINNON — The owners of a 504-site former campground are preparing to start reopening it next month.
Reservations are being accepted for the initial 37 campsites that Lou and Ruth DiDomenico plan to reopen May 1.
Full hookups will cost $25 a night, $125 per week or $340 a month. Group sites will be available at $500 for a weekend.
Previously, the DiDomenicos planned to build a golf course and resort on the property overlooking Hood Canal.
Last month, they announced they would keep the site near U.S. Highway 101 and Black Point Road — midway between Brinnon and the Mason County line — as a campground.
