PORT ANGELES — The cruise ship Statendam has turned around Ediz Hook in the Strait of Juan de Fuca as it comes into port more than two hours after its scheduled arrival.
The ship is coming from the south en route to its summer Alaska schedule on a “turnaround” cruise. It was originally due to tie up around noon.
Blue and white balloons and other welcoming indications are already posted in downtown Port Angeles for the second Holland America Line visit this month.
