Beach cleanup Saturday in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Marine Science Center, in partnership with Washington CoastSavers and Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup, is sponsoring a clean up of Port Townsend area beaches from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Participants can check in at the museum portico, 582 Battery Way, for beach locations, directions, trash bags and gloves.

Upon returning weigh their collection, participants will receive a free pass to the museum and a $5 gift card for the Port Townsend Food Coop.
