PORT TOWNSEND — Eight of Port Townsend’s historic bed-and-breakfast inns and downtown hotels will showcase their decorations and offer the public holiday cheer, beginning at 5 p.m. Friday.
Proceeds from the Holiday Open Parlor will purchase food to be distributed by the Port Townsend Food Bank
Innkeepers will also offer refreshments — and many offer live music — for the event, which runs until 7:30 p.m.
Event tickets give admission to all the inns on the tour.
It is coordinated by the Port Townsend Main Street Program and staffed by its volunteers.
Participating inns are Holly Hill House, 611 Polk St.; Commander’s Beach House, 400 Hudson St., Point Hudson; The James House, 1238 Washington St.; The Quimper Inn, 1306 Franklin St.; The Old Consulate Inn, 313 Walker St.; The Palace Hotel, 1004 Water St.; The Bishop Victorian Guest Suites, 714 Washington St.; and The Blue Gull Inn, 1310 Clay St.
Tickets are on sale in advance at Quimper Sound, 230 Taylor St., and at the participating inns on the evening of the event.
Admission is $10 for adults and $2 for children age 12 and under.
