PHOTO: Ballot test gets ready for Aug. 6 primary

PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Elections Manger Becky Pettigrew, left, and Elections Deputy Susan Johnson watch as a vote tabulation machine accepts test ballots during a logic and accuracy test of the equipment Thursday at the Clallam County Courthouse in Port Angeles.

The test was conducted before party observers in anticipation of the Aug. 6 primary election. Pettigrew said voters should be receiving ballots starting next week.
