U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary member Alan G. Smith of Sequim has been selected at the 2019 Sector Puget Sound Auxiliarist of the Year.
Smith was presented with a citation and a plaque by Capt. Linda A. Purvis, sector commander, at a meeting is Seattle.
Smith is a member of the Port Angeles-based Flotilla 44 of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
