PORT ANGELES — The organizers of the second annual Arts &Draughts Beer &Wine Festival are seeking artist entries to display in an exhibition set up during the event.
The festival, presented by the Port Angeles Downtown Association, will be Sept. 23-25 in downtown Port Angeles.
As part of the weekend-long celebration showcasing local and regional artisans and craftsmen in the vendor row on Laurel Street, and local and regional beers and wines of the area in the beer garden, a gallery exhibition is planned in the basement of the former Bank of America building at the corner of Front and Laurel streets.
Artists are invited to submit up to five original art pieces in the display.
Submissions are due Friday.
A $5 hanging fee will be charged for each piece of art.
The gallery will be open during the regular hours of the festival, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 24 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 25.
An opening night reception is set from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 23.
Organizers are seeking a wide, diverse mix of art including paintings, photography, sculptures of all kind, fiber arts, poetry, driftwood, pottery and jewelry.
Original art submissions can be delivered to Brocante Antiques, 105 W. First St., care of Beau Damon Richards, festival gallery curator.
