Port Angeles School Board members tonight will discuss the tax settlement between Daishowa America Co. Ltd. and Clallam County.
The settlement is expected to change the approximate tax rate listed on ballots for the district’s replacement school levy, now being voted on by mail through Feb. 4.
School Board members may limit the two-year levy to the listed rate of $2.88 per $1,000 valuation, at least for the first year.
The board will also discuss a construction change order for the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center/Business Incubator that will cost $41,529.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Jefferson Elementary School, 218 E. 12th St.
