Sequim’s Team McAleer has been fortunate to serve the community since 1993.
And, since 1995, the family-focused RE/MAX Prime team has hosted a St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the John Wayne Marina to show their appreciation for the continued support of their clients.
Like many things, this year’s celebrations looked a little different, but the festivities were lots of fun, just the same!
Rather than gathering at the Marina for food, drinks, music and cheer, this year the McAleer team delivered more than 370 gift baskets filled with local wine, chocolates and flowers.
“When Mike Sr. started this tradition years ago, it was a way to thank our amazing clients while also paying a tribute to our Irish heritage. I was a little skeptical about how Irish we actually were, until our ‘23 and Me’ results came in, and it turns out we’re very Irish,” laughs realtor Michael McAleer.
Fortunately, Michael and his team had a few extra helping hands, thanks to teens from the soccer team he used to coach coming out to help. Together, they delivered hundreds of baskets throughout the Sequim and Port Angeles areas.
This family business had included Michael’s father and sister, but Mike Sr. has retired and sister Colleen has entered public service. Michael has now expanded the team to include some truly amazing local Realtors.
The St. Patrick’s Day baskets are just one way this team puts the community first.
Well educated about the market, these specialists in buying and selling strive to go above and beyond with each transaction, and while they bring a diverse set of complementary skill sets and experiences, they all share a passion for their community.
“We live in a pretty incredible place so it helps to make our jobs a little easier when we believe in what we’re selling – we just really love this community,” notes Michael, who’s currently serving his fourth term as president of the Sequim Association of Realtors, and a board member of Sequim Family Advocates who built the Albert Haller Playfield at Carrie Blake Park.
“We have a really high bar for the service we provide illustrated by our mantra: We’re not looking for satisfied customers, we are looking for RAVING FANS”, Michael says. “At the end of every transaction, our goal is to have customers so happy with our service that they insist that their family, friends and neighbors use us as well!”
