Field Arts Events Hall offers insight into planned giving

Workshops aim to empower the community with legacy-building tools

As a space for the arts and culture scene of Port Angeles, Field Arts & Events Hall continues to expand its role in the community by offering legacy building workshops with a focus on planned giving.

This fall, Field Hall will host two workshops led by financial expert Kelly Kidwell, Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Advisors, to guide participants through the complexities of estate and charitable giving.

These workshops are scheduled for Sept. 30 and Oct. 24. They will provide attendees with practical knowledge on how planned giving can create a lasting legacy, while benefiting their loved ones and the causes they care about.

All are welcome; attendees can be new to charitable donations or more experienced in estate management, you will be able to learn valuable strategies to leave an impact.

“We are thrilled to offer these workshops that provide the tools and knowledge to create a meaningful, lasting legacy. We want to nurture both the cultural accessibility and financial future of our community members” says Poet XIX, Development Officer at Field Arts & Events Hall.

Planned giving

Kelly Kidwell, who leads Pacific Advisors, a West Coast financial services firm, is recognized for his expertise in estate, business, charitable, and philanthropic planning.

His workshops help demystify the planned giving process, making it accessible to people at every financial stage. “Planned giving is not just about wealth,” Kidwell explains “It’s about ensuring your values and priorities are reflected in how you leave a legacy.”

These workshops are designed to give attendees tools and knowledge around tax-efficient strategies and asset management while introducing ways to align charitable giving with personal values.

In addition to these workshops, the venue remains a cultural hub for Port Angeles, with performances, lectures, and other events that celebrate art and culture on the Olympic Peninsula. This fall and winter, Field Hall will welcome a diverse lineup of programming from highly requested local bands like Kalan Wolfe and The Shift (Sept 28) to the National Geographic Live series with explorers like Kiliii Yüyan (Oct 24) to the international 50th anniversary tour of the acclaimed “musicians of silence” Mummenschanz (Oct 18).

For those interested in learning more about Field Hall’s upcoming schedule, the website offers a full list of events at fieldhallevents.org.

Beyond events, Field Arts & Events Hall is fostering a broader vision of community engagement. By offering educational programs like the planned giving workshops, they are strengthening the long-term connection between culture, charity, and local residents.

Attendees can expect to walk away with actionable insights that will help them secure their legacy while supporting the causes they care about most.

Spaces for the workshops are limited, and light refreshments will be served. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by emailing Poet XIX at poet@fieldhallevents.org.
