SEQUIM — Technology and how to use it will be presented at the second annual Sequim Technology and Media Fair on Saturday.
The fair will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sequim High School, 601 N. Sequim Ave.
The free event is presented by the Sequim PC Users Group in cooperation with the Sequim High School Future Business Leaders of America, Nikola Broadband and KSQM-91.5 FM.
Presentations, demonstrations and exhibitors will highlight how a wide range of technologies can be used to enhance everyday life.
The fair also will showcase the technology-based programs, courses and skills now being taught at Sequim High School.
The theme is “Technology for Everyone.”
Presentations and demos will include:
■ How to download and share digital pictures.
■ How to text and use social networking sites.
■ New gizmos and gadgets.
■ Information about such Mac devices as iPads, iPhones and iPods.
■ How to convert from a personal computer to a Mac.
■ Tips for shopping on eBay.
■ What to consider when buying your next television, computer or digital camera.
Presenters will demonstrate how technology-based products and services can make everyday life easier and more fun.
The array of goods and services being shown includes Internet connectivity, home Wi-Fi, hybrid autos, computer hardware and peripherals, Apple devices and home security.
Sequim radio station KSQM will broadcast live from the fair.
Food will be available.
