SEQUIM — Sequim’s Shipley Center will offer a bus ride to and from the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival on Saturday.
Participants must register by today.
Tickets are available to both members and nonmembers. Tickets for members are $23; for nonmembers, $26. This does not include entry to the Wooden Boat Festival, which is $15 to $20.
The Shipley bus will depart the center’s parking lot at 9 a.m. Saturday, returning to Sequim between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Beth Barrett, Shipley Center’s tour director, points out that the Wooden Boat Festival is only one of many diversions available to bus passengers.
“Aside from enjoying all the fascinating boats and ‘boatie’ people that the festival draws, the Port Townsend Farmers Market also will be open. Just walking the downtown is a pleasure — great shops, restaurants and coffee places everywhere.”
