PORT ANGELES — Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will observe the Ecumenical and International Season of Creation during Sunday services at 9:30 a.m.
Worship services, which include music, creation-centered art and preaching, at at the church, 301 E. Lopez Ave.
Following the the service, Janis Berger will present “The Wildflowers of the Olympics” at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Berger’s presentation is part of a series, which runs through Oct. 20, celebrating the theme, “Season of Wonder.”
Future presentations in the series include “Recycling ideas” by Roxanne Grinstad, Oct. 6; “Our Insect world: Protecting the rare Makah copper butterfly” by CJ Urnes, Oct. 13; and “The Elwha and Regenerative Agriculture” by Karen and Jim Weaver of Wild Edge Farm, Oct. 20.
The church is part of the Lutheran Church’s Reconciling in Christ program and welcomes all.
