San Francisco, Port Townsend poets to appear at Northwind

PORT TOWNSEND — My Father’s Love: Portrait of the Poet as a Young Girl and Love on the Streets are two of the books by Sharon Doubiago, a featured poet next week at the Northwind Arts Center.

Doubiago, winner of the Oregon Book Award, three Pushcart Prizes and other honors for her poetry, lives in San Francisco.

She will make the trip to Northwind for a reading with Gary Lemons, a Port Townsend poet and yoga teacher.

The two will appear at

7 p.m. Thursday, and admission will be free to the public.
