SEQUIM — Tim’s Place respite program will be open for a second day each week.
The program, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The program enables free time, or respite, for caregivers of people living with physical or mental challenges, such as memory loss.
Major funding for the program was provided by Carolee Dunn and it is named after her late husband.
Participants enjoy activities such as music, games, exercise and arts and crafts under the care of volunteers and trained professionals.
Lunch is provided.
The suggested donation is $30 per day.
