Peacock receives retirees’ community service award

PORT ANGELES — Dan Peacock has received the 2024 Community Service Award from the Clallam County School Retirees’ Association.

Peacock helps with the Port Angeles School District’s Backpack event at Jefferson Elementary School and with the association’s book drive at Sequim Head Start, Port Angeles First Step and the Crescent School District.

Peacock also is involved in the Joyce Fire District, Crescent Grange and Crescent School District.

He will be the Pioneer of the Joyce Days Parade this year as well.
