Peace choir to sing Saturday

AGNEW — Interfaith Clallam County Peace Choir will host music and singing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall.

Songs of peace, freedom and justice, followed by refreshments and fellowship, will be had at the fellowship hall at 1033 Barr Road. All are welcome.

A $5 donation is requested but not required. Contributions will support the Compassion Clallam County Little Free Pantry Project.

The peace choir songs are from all faiths and traditions. The audience will hear an African peace song called “Freedom is Coming.” They will be encouraged to sing along with many of the songs, including one for the Earth entitled “Let Us See The Beauty Everyday.” George Lindamood contributes his skills on piano while Susie Herrick will accompany the choir on flute when they present “Turn, Turn, Turn.”

The program will be emceed by M.E. Bartholomew and directed by Joel Yelland.
