Medicare advisory clinic Friday

PORT ANGELES — Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors will be on hand to answer Medicare questions from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.

The free clinic, sponsored by the Olympic Area Agency on Aging, is in the Port Angeles Senior and Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St.

Advisors can help attendees to assess their Medicare related health care coverage needs, determine their general eligibility for health care coverage programs, evaluate and compare health insurance plans and programs, provide enrollment help with Medicare, speak with 1-800-MEDICARE on their behalf, make referrals to other agencies and programs and collect and report possible Medicare fraud complaints.

The advisors are a program of the Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
