PORT HADLOCK — The entry deadline is Tuesday for a Jefferson County Library contest for the best gingerbread houses or structures built out of anything edible.
Entries into the Home for the Holidays contest can be taken to the library at 620 Cedar Ave.
Entry forms are on the library’s website at jclibrary.info.
Voting will open to the public Tuesday and ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday in two categories: youth younger than 18 and adults 18 and older.
Categories are Best in Show, Most Creative and Most Humorous.
The winners will be announced at the Holiday Open House from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Structures can be built out of anything edible.
The base should be no larger than 12-inches-by-12-inches.
