Protest held Saturday

PORT ANGELES — Washington gubernatorial candidate Loren Culp, Republican now living in Republic, left, approaches the stairs to the announcers tower at Extreme Sports Park west of Port Angeles followed by event organizer Lyle Hagen during a speaking event Saturday. An estimated crowd of over 1,000 people attended the gathering protesting Gov. Jay Inslee’s policies concerning wildfires, COVID-19 and other issues.
