Concerts on the Dock summer series begins tonight in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce begins its summer series of outdoor Concerts on the Dock tonight with a performance by Tim Halpin and The Better Half.

The free and family-friendly concerts run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays until Sept. 2, but have a new location this year — the end of Water Street across from the Northwest Maritime Center (431 Water St.).

Other concerts:

• Tona La Stella’s Wise Guys with music from Sinatra to the Rolling Stones on July 8.

• Kiss My Blue Grass and SOS with folk rock and punk rock on July 15.

• Battle of the Bands competition on July 22.

• Deadwood Revival with bluegrass on July 29.

• May Palmer with jazz, blues, gospel and R&B on Aug. 5.

• The Lonely H with SSRq70s influenced rock SSRqn’ roll on Aug. 12.

• Solbird with R&B on Aug. 19.

• Delta Rays with groovy dance music on Aug. 26.

• Battle of the Bands winner with music to be determined on Sept. 2.
