‘Art of Cocktails’ benefit for KCPT

PORT TOWNSEND — An evening of sipping and learning is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday as Key City Public Theatre hosts “The Art of Cocktails and Mocktails,” a new event at The In Between cocktail lounge.

The party at 823 Water St., which will feature The In Between’s beverage artists, will include drinks — both spiked and spirit-free — along with house-made snacks. Patrons will see up close how the various secret concoctions are mixed, shaken and stirred.

Tickets are $65, with proceeds to benefit the nonprofit Key City Public Theatre.

The In Between, so called because it’s located between street level and the upstairs Sirens Pub, has donated much of the cost of the event, said KCPT artistic director Denise Winter.

She added that she’ll share news about KCPT’s 2019 and 2020 seasons during the evening.

To make reservations, visit KeyCityPublic Theatre.org or call 360-385-5278.
